Buying Books

Still my favorite place to buy books after many years is, because they allow you to compare the “all in” price – with tax and shipping.  No, I don’t get any affiliate fees – just like to take note of the good guys and pass the word along.

Here’s a quick example.

  1. You can get a similar result (price comparison) by using the browser plug-in called “invisible hand”…available for Google Chrome and Firefox. Once installed, just search for some item to purchase, such as “Reminiscences of a Stock Operator” in Google or Bing or wherever. When the search results appear, you wait a few seconds and a small pop-down bar will appear below the address bar in your browser. The bar will have the cost of the item and the site and link for purchase. It searches many (if not all) of the big retailers. Check it out.
