Current Portfolio Themes

I took a look at our current portfolio tonight and found it fascinating.  The book is composed of 69 long and 11 short positions.  I’ll post all the long names below (without position sizes as we are NOT providing investment advice), but a cursory glance reveals that:

  • Our longs are arguably 50% tech/tech-related names (depending on how you classify them) including some old chestnuts the floored me – DELL, ELNK, EMC, INTC and MSFT.  Semiconductors and network technologies are well represented.
  • There’s a surprising number of retailers and restaurants – ANF, ARO, CKR, COH, FOSL, NDN, OMX, PETM, SBUX, SWY, URBN, ZUMZ.
  • A few oil and gas and materials names appear.

Interesting to see what you find when you select top fundamentals and trade the trend.  Anyway, the complete list of longs:
